December 2016 Chamber Luncheon
Beachwood Chamber December Luncheon
Give- Back Event
Luncheon Sponsor: Dollar Bank
This special luncheon is dedicated to the importance of not-for-profit organizations and how they benefit our community. Three organizations were chosen for 2016 and we strongly encourage you to attend this luncheon to hear representatives from each organization and to make a donation. Volunteer opportunities are available for each organization and monetary donations are also appreciated.
Monetary donations may be brought to the luncheon, delivered to the Chamber office or made directly at the organizations' websites (links below). Please make all checks out to the charities and not the chamber. If you make a donation directly, please let us know so we may keep a running total.
The Alzheimer's Association Cleveland Area Chapter provides support and resources to individuals suffering from memory loss, and their families, in a five-county region of northeast Ohio including Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain counties. Nearly all services are provided free of charge. The disease currently affects more than five million American adults and is the 6th leading cause of death in the country. It is the only cause of death among the top 10 that cannot be prevented, cured, or even slowed down. (alz.org/cleveland)
Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio Inc. is a nearly 100-year old social enterprise that works closely with other non-profit agencies as well as community businesses to prepare people for a variety of stable career options and in turn, a more productive and sustainable way of life. In 2015, Goodwill impacted the lives of 15,418 residents in the 10 counties it serves: Cuyahoga, Geauga, part of Lake, Stark, Tuscarawas, Carroll, Jefferson, and Harrison in Ohio, and Brooke and Hancock in West Virginia.
