Leah Berdysz is on a "mission to empower and enlighten girls on how to be beautiful from the inside out through discovery of social, mental, and physical components". In May of 2017 Leah graduated summa cum laude from John Carroll University receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science and Entrepreneurship, as well as founded Empowered & Poised LLC. She is extremely passionate about health, wellness, and helping others to become their strongest, healthiest, and happiest selves. Leah has been teaching physical education at the Hebrew Academy of Cleveland for four years and has attained over 10 years of experience working with youth through camp counseling, coaching, volunteering, and care taking. Leah is also passionate about working as the the Community Outreach Coordinator for LaunchHouse and as an entertainer at Rock the House Entertainment.
The Beachwood Women’s Connection was established to create a forum for professional women to come together to empower each other. We offer monthly morning meetings in which we build relationships and learn about pertinent topics related to business, community and issues of interest.
- Each meeting will feature a topic, moderator and speakers on occasion.
- Bring a current event (can be business related, personal or something in the news that is important to you) or a quote (motivational or inspirational) to share with the group.
